Jade Kitten Publishing is a small publishing company that I (Amethyst Gibbs) started because it's hard to get a literary agent and the publishing industry can be frustrating for authors who are trying to navigate it and get some exposure by being published. Self-publishing can be very intimidating as well. There are good authors who are never seen and good stories never told. So, while we are primarily starting by publishing some of my own works of fiction, we would like to help give other authors a chance to shine as well by helping them to get their work out there if we like what we see.
We are proudly Canadian owned, based in Marathon Ontario on the scenic north shore of Lake Superior. My editor is American, based in Vermont, but she's very good at her job so I won't hold that against her. We are LGBTQI and proud as well, and strive for inclusivity in the marketplace for LGBTQI authors and stories.
